To make your candles last 20% longer all you have to do is trim the wick to 1/4"! Easy right?! 1/4" is the perfect length for a wick to properly burn a candle- any shorter the wick may not stay lit and any longer your flame will be bigger creating a hotter flame which in turn burns your candle down faster.
