To make your candles last 20% longer all you have to do is trim the wick to 1/4"! Easy right?! 1/4" is the perfect length for a wick to properly burn a candle- any shorter the wick may not stay lit and any longer your flame will be bigger creating a hotter flame which in turn burns your candle down faster. It will also keep black soot from forming on the jars.
We offer an amazing wick trimmer that takes any guess work out of the way. It features a perfect handle angle and pre-measured foot- both of which are crafted to effortlessly trim to 1/4" guaranteed. Before lighting each candle, place the foot of the trimmer on top of the wax. Place the wick into the notch on the inside of the foot and effortlessly trim the wick to 1/4" inch.
